(the original prayer has been adapted in small sections over the years, in a recent collaboration for a Bristol Lovejam and GodisAlive event, we felt that it is necessary for these times to directly name the destructive core patterns of humanity, creating such excruciating global suffering at unprecedented magnitude. It was a truly blessing process to co-create this new version of the Universal Prayer for Peace, we have been crying, mourning, grieving and envisioning a new humanity of the heart in a truly nurturing way).

as one heart-breaking pain of all oppression, suppression and feelings of powerlessness and worthlessness

as one heart-breaking pain of all entitlement to claim ruthless control by force

as one heart-breaking pain of all the torturous and murderous cruelty and life and love destructive inventions justified by sickening tales of genuine intentions

as one heart-breaking pain of all the forced disconnection from deeply loved earrth, destroying lives, beautiful ways of life and the the knowledge of deeply connected living as life itself
