Experimental Film

Experimental film was always a fascinating tool for me to suggest different ways to see oneself and the world. Pretty quickly when studying Fine Arts, video became one of my favorite creative fields of expression. Some of them were exhibited at the Museum Fridericianum when I still was a student. I still explored experimental film just as a voluntary extra at Brighton University, when I worked towards my degree-show which also included elements of video.  The most recent works from 2015/16 are all based around dance, movement, poetry and nature and I am delighted that the film “Love it through this open door to Me” was chosen to be presented in the Women Cinemakers Biennale online special edition. Thank you so much, I felt honored and deeply touched that the selection committee felt the following: “we have been really impressed with your insightful inquiry into the creative expression of the heart and we have highly appreciated the way your cross disciplinary practice establishes deep involvement with the spectatorship, both on the emotional aspect and on the intellectual one, urging the audience to evolve from viewers to participants.”

“presence”, a short film inspired by a poem by Saniel Bonder:

“to my beloved”- inspired by the beautiful voice of Lindsay Treen and a beautiful sculpture by Andrew Wood:
